Northwestern Water and Sewer District Projects

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio, - The Northwestern Water and Sewer District (the District) delivers water and sewer services to over 19,000 customers in Wood, Sandusky and Hancock counties.  Although many of our construction and maintenance projects are performed underground, our utility work can impact roads throughout our area.  The District will announce updates and when additional projects are under contract.  Updates and additions are highlighted in bold and underlined. 

Wood County

Bairdstown
Through June, daytime, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on SR 18 between Bushey Road and Leathers Road for sewer installation.  Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.  Through June, daytime intermittent lane restrictions and short-term closures are also possible on local streets in Bairdstown for pavement and restoration work.  Project complete: June.

Lake and Perrysburg Township - Tracy Road Sewer Maintenance
Through June, single lane and shoulder restrictions are possible on Tracy Road, between State Route 795 and Ayers Road, for pavement and restoration work.  Local traffic is maintained.  Project complete: July. 

Perrysburg Township – Starbright Subdivision Waterline Project *NEW PROJECT*
Effective the week of July 10, through September, daytime intermittent lane restrictions are possible in the Starbright subdivision and on Oregon and Ayers Roads for waterline replacement.  Project complete:  September. 

Millbury – Sanitary Sewer Improvements
Through October, short-term, intermittent lane restrictions are possible throughout the Village of Millbury for sewer work and manhole repairs. Project complete: October.

Northwood – Equalization Basin
Through July, intermittent lane restrictions are possible East Plaza Boulevard and Wise Street, near the former Woodville Mall, for construction equipment staging.  Project complete: August.

Rossford - Colony Road Waterline Installation
Through June, lane restrictions are possible on Colony Road for pavement and restoration work.  Project complete June.

Rossford – Lorraine Place Sanitary Sewer
Through July, lane restrictions are possible on Lorraine Place for paving and sanitary sewer work.  Project complete: August.

Rossford – Harmon Business Park Water and Sewer Installation *NEW PROJECT*
Effective the week of June 26 through October, crews will be installing new water and sewer lines in the Harmon Business park.  Motorists are reminded to be aware of additional construction traffic on Bass Pro Boulevard.  Project complete: October. 

Washington Township, Williamsburg-On-The-River Subdivision
Through June, intermittent, short-term lane restrictions are possible in the Williamsburg-On-The River subdivision, between Sugar Creek Road and SR 235, for sanitary sewer rehabilitation.  Through June, intermittent, daytime lane restrictions are possible on SR 235, between Scott Road and SR 65, and on SR 65, between Brillhart Road and SR 235, for manhole rehabilitation.  Project complete: July.

Washington Township, State Route 65 Pump Station Upgrade *NEW PROJECT*
Effective the week of June 26, through August, daytime lane restrictions are possible on State Route 65 near State Route 235 for pump station upgrade.   Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.  Project complete: September.   

Weston - Waterline Rehabilitation
Through September, lane restrictions are possible on Main, Oak and Taylor Streets for waterline replacement.  Local access is maintained.  Project complete: October.
