Northwestern Water and Sewer District Projects
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio, - The Northwestern Water and Sewer District (The District) delivers water and sewer services to over 19,000 customers in Wood, Sandusky and Hancock counties. Although many of our construction and maintenance projects are performed underground, our utility work can impact roads throughout our area. The District will announce updates and when additional projects are under contract. Updates and additions are highlighted in bold and underlined.
Middleton Township – Waterville Bridge Water Line Relocation
Through mid-December, daytime intermittent lane and shoulder restrictions are possible on State Route 64/65, from Reitz Road to Five Point Road, for water line relocation. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Project complete: December.
Millbury – Sanitary Sewer Improvements
Through June 2018, short-term, intermittent lane restrictions are possible throughout the Village of Millbury for sewer work and manhole repairs. Project complete: June 2018.
Northwood and Perrysburg & Lake Townships – East Broadway Sewer Maintenance
Effective today, through January, lane restrictions are possible on East Broadway Street between Walbridge and Wales Roads for sewer maintenance. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Project complete: February.
Perrysburg Township – Sanitary Sewer Improvements
Through July 2018, short-term intermittent lane restrictions are possible throughout Perrysburg Township, north of SR 795, for sewer work and manhole repair. Project complete: July 2018.
Plain Township – U.S. Route 6 – Water Main Maintenance
Through December, intermittent shoulder restrictions are possible on US 6, between Green Road and Potter Road for water main maintenance. Work complete: December.
Washington Township, State Route 65 Pump Station Upgrade *PROJECT COMPLETE*
The pump station upgrade project on State Route 65 near State Route 235 is now complete.
Through December, weekdays from 8am until 3:30pm, crews will be flushing and testing fire hydrants in the City of Rossford. Residents are advised to flush water from their taps if the water becomes discolored. For more information: /operations/water-quality/hydrant-main-line-flushing-info/
